Four police officers charged with assault during a drug raid in Wailea in 2024 have been granted bail by the Suva Magistrates Court.
Jekope Nakula, Maciu Tuira, Tokoni Nemia and Unaisi Naqiri appeared before Resident Magistrate Charles Ratakele for their bail ruling.
The four are each charged with one count of an act intended to cause grievous harm.
The court granted bail to all four officers under strict conditions.
The matter has been adjourned to 8th August, when the four will take their pleas.
