HFC Bank CEO Rakesh Ram says they are extremely proud of their women leaders achievements and grateful that as Fiji’s only local commercial bank, they are leading the way in recognizing women in top leadership roles which has traditionally always been dominated by the male gender.
Ram adds that HFC Bank fosters a fair and strong working environment for employees through its gender diversity and equal opportunity and these appointments validate the commitment to show the way.
Umesh Prasad has been appointed Head of Treasury and Corporate Services.
She is a seasoned banker having worked in the banking industry for over 15 years.
She has worked in senior roles at Westpac Bank, Colonial National Bank and ANZ Bank.
Prasad also had offshore experience having worked as Head of Treasury at ANZ Bank, Vanuatu.
Vandhana Sharma is the Head of Corporate Banking West.
She comes with a far-reaching career in business banking from the banking industry with over 18 years of experience.
Sharma was with ANZ Bank for around 15 years where she had climbed up the role of Senior Manager in Commercial Banking.
She holds a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of the South Pacific and is a Graduate of Leadership Fiji.
She is a role model to the community and is the Trustee of the “Voice of the Needy Foundation”, a charitable organization helping the poor and the needy.
Shilpa Jogia is now the Corporate Manager Suva.
She has over 15 years of experience with HFC Bank.
Devika Prakash is now the Corporate Manager Suva.
She has over 10 years of banking industry experience with ANZ Bank and is well versed in Finance and Business Banking.
