Three people have been arrested in connection with a robbery case in Cunningham yesterday morning.
Police say the incident was captured on CCTV.
They say the suspect initially alleged to be involved in the robbery was arrested by Valelevu Police, while investigations into the initial report led to information about the alleged involvement of two other people, who were also arrested.
Police say the three suspects are also alleged to be linked to other robbery cases in the area.
They say the suspects remain in custody at the Valelevu Police Station as investigations continue.
Cunningham Stage 1 resident Sheetal Chand had told fijivillage News that she was robbed in her driveway while leaving for work early in the morning.
Chand said the incident happened at about 6.30am when a man opened the rear door of her vehicle, grabbed her handbag and lunch bag, and ran off as she was reversing out of her driveway.
