A two-vehicle collision at 7 Miles this morning is causing heavy traffic congestion for drivers travelling through Nakasi, Laqere and surrounding areas.
The Fiji Police Force is yet to confirm details of the crash, including whether there were any injuries or fatalities.
Speaking to fijivillage News, Sawani resident Rohit Sharma, who was caught in the traffic, says the collision involved two vehicles and the damage appeared to be extensive.
Sharma says he had left home at around 6.30am and made a stop in Nadawa before continuing his journey.
He said that by 7.48am, he was still stuck in traffic as police and other authorities attended the scene.
Drivers are advised to expect delays and exercise caution while travelling through the area.
