New Assistant Ministers have been appointed as Infrastructure and Transport Minister, Pio Tikoduadua resigned from public office.
Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama confirms that current Local Government, Housing and Environment Minister, Parveen Bala is the new Infrastructure and Transport Minister and the new Assistant Minister for Infrastructure is Vijay Nath.
Newly sworn-in FijiFirst parliamentarian and former teacher, Jilila Kumar is the new Assistant Minister for Education.
She replaces Nath.
Assistant Minister for Tourism, Lorna Eden is the new Assistant Minister for Local Government, Housing and Environment.
There will be no Assistant Minister for Tourism.
