The Fiji Warriors side faces a major setback ahead of the Pacific Rugby Cup after Vodafone Fiji Bati centre Ilisavani Jegesa pulled out from the team.
This was confirmed to Fijivillage by Fiji National Rugby League official Joe Dakuitoga.
Jegesa was earlier named in the 35 member squad but has withdrawn after signing a rugby league contract.
The Nabua Broncos player will be joined by Iliesa Cakau of the Kinoya Sea Eagles and Sisa Balekolo of the Makoi Bulldogs for a six month stint in the Cook Islands.
Meanwhile, the Fiji Warriors kick off their Pacific Rugby cup campaign against the Queensland Reds A on the 2nd of next month.
