Police will investigate the incident where a 16-year-old boy drowned during the Fiji Mission Pathfinder Camporee that is underway in Naravuka, Macuata in Vanua Levu.

Divisional Manager Community Policing - North Luke Cerenasiga says their priority now is to get the boy’s body to Nadi back to his home.

Police say the boy’s body was found metres away from where he was last seen yesterday.

The organisers say the camporee will continue as planned and conclude on Sunday.
