Many places in the Western Division are still without water and it is still not known when supply will normalise.
Water Authority of Fiji said that work is continuing at Waiwai Dam, Moto Bridge, Varaciva Pumping Station and Nadrou Pumping Station in Ba.
It said a team of 20 workers are stationed at Moto Bridge to help in the laying of pipes across Moto River and if weather permits, the team hopes to complete work by the end of tomorrow as 60% of the work is already completed.
The Authority said that 75%of residents in Ba were receiving normal water supply by yesterday afternoon including people living in Vatulaulau, Namosau, Yalalevu, Maruru and Ba hospital.
Meanwhile in Lautoka, work is still underway at Buabua Dam and work on the Vaturu Dam pipelines are expected to be carried out tomorrow.
The Authority said that 50% of work, including connecting of pipes has completed at Buabua.
The Water Authority confirmed that water supply has normalised in the urban areas in Nadi however some people living in rural Nadi are still experiencing intermittent water supply.
It said water trucks are carting water to these areas.
The Authority said that an excavator and a truck was engaged in cleaning up the silt and other rubbish as well as reconstructing the road properly to the Matovo Pumping Station gallery yesterday afternoon.
High areas in Sigatoka continue to experience intermittent water supply due to Matovo Pumping Station having only two galleries and one flight pump in operation.
It is not known when water supply will be normal in Sigatoka.
