Operation Kadivuka includes inspection of ships
Operation Kadivuka has extended their operations from today to also inspect ships that berth at the Lautoka wharf.

Spokesperson, Rosa Dalituicama said they will be checking the ships that come in from overseas and ships travelling locally.

This is because they believe that termites came in on the pallets from the boats from overseas through the Lautoka wharf.

As of today, a total of 11,718 houses have already been inspected for termites of which 978 cases have been confirmed.

Of these 678 houses, 977 trees and 10 schools have been treated for termites.
