Indiscipline at the break downs played a major role in the Flying Fijians 24 16 loss to Italy this morning.

The Deacon Manu led side gave away a lot of penalties at the break down which Italy capitalize on to edge past the Fijians in the last 20 minutes of the second half.

Fiji scored the only try of the game to hooker Tuapati Talemaitoga which was converted by flyhalf Seremaia Bai who also kicked 3 penalties.

Bai missed two other long range penalties which could have reduced the deficit to two points.

Fiji gave away a total of 8 penalties which Italy converted into points for their 24 16 win.

Despite the loss to Italy this morning it will not affect the Fiji team's IRB ranking as they will still remain on the 10th spot.

Italy will remain in 12th spot while New Zealand, South Africa and Australia share are the top 3 spots respectively.

This morning the Wallabies recorded their biggest win against France with a 59 16 win.

Both sides were locked 13 all at half time but the fast Australian back line demolished the French in the second half with winger Drew Mitchell grabbing a hat trick.

Also Wales made New Zealand work hard for their Grand Slam decider, with the visitors eventually running out 37 25 winners in Cardiff.

Dan Carter broke Jonny Wilkinson's world Test points record at the Millennium Stadium as the All Blacks completed their third Grand Slam tour of Britain and Ireland in six seasons.

All Blacks fly half Carter missed four first half kicks, but an early long-range penalty took him past England star Wilkinson's mark of 1,178 points.

And following a demoralizing defeat to Scotland, the Springboks went from zero to hero in the space of a week after beating England 21 11 at Twickenham this morning.

Meanwhile, Samoa was unlucky to concede a last minute penalty that allowed Scotland to win 19 16.
