The Digicel Fiji 7s team is fit and raring to go.
That is the statement from Assistant Coach Etuate Waqa after assessing the team’s performance today at Nasova grounds against the champion Wardens side.
Today's line up saw Sekonaia Kalou, Nemani Nagusa and Lepani Botia in the forwards while Taniela Rawaqa was at half back with Osea Kolinisau running at playmaker, former Lelean Memorial School kingpin Metuisela Talebula stood at rover and newcomer Waisea Nayacalevu was running on the wing.
Waqa said the team is injury free and will take a good rest tomorrow.
Fiji will play Argentina at 12.44pm next Friday in its first match of the New Zealand 7's.
At 3.40pm Fiji will take on Tonga and in its last pool match Fiji will play Wales at 8.12pm.
The cup quarter-finals will start at 1.33pm next Saturday with the cup semi-finals starting at 5.35pm.
The cup final will be played at 8.30pm.
