Fiji Bati in high spirits

Fiji Bati in high spirits
The Fiji Bati team will have only three days to acclimatise to the weather in Papua New Guinea before the Pacific Rugby League Cup kicks off this weekend.

The Wes Naiqama captained side had two training sessions at the PNG University today and Naiqama said that the boys are in high spirits and are looking forward to the tournament.

Naiqama adds the Fiji Bati, along with other teams will be hosted at a function by the SP Brewery, the official sponsors of the tournament.

The Newcastle Knights player has confirmed the team knows the trust bestowed to them by the people of Fiji and have vowed to give their best in the tournament.

Their first game is against the Cook Islands on Saturday.
