Civoniceva to play for Fiji in Rugby League World Cup

Australian rugby league great Petero Civoniceva will put on the boots of his home-country as he represents Fiji in next years Rugby League World Cup in England.

Fiji Bati Assistant Coach Joe Rabele said with the caliber and experience of Civoniceva in the team, it will be something they will be proud of.

Rabele added that apart from Civoniceva, Jarred Hayne has also showed interest if he will not be selected for the Kangaroos squad for the World Cup.

Meanwhile, other overseas players who has yet to confirm their availability includes Sisa Waqa, Marika Koroibete, Lote Tuqiri and Jason Bukuya.
