Interim Minister for Tourism, Bernadette Rounds Ganilau is unhappy with the comments made by the Managing Director of Australian Tourism, Chris Brown, who had earlier said that Australians should think twice about coming to Fiji.
Ganilau said the true picture should be revealed to the Australians.
Ganilau said at the end of the day it is the people that make the decision on whether to visit the country.
Brown has been reported as saying by the Sydney Morning Herald that due to the strike in Fiji, Australians coming here can expect inconvenience.
He said instead of travelling overseas, Australians should travel in Australia to help local people get more jobs.
