The Manu Samoa team arrived in the country this morning knowing what they will expect from the Flying Fijian 15s rugby team.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Samoa's national coach Niko Palamo said his side wants to start their Pacific Nations Cup with a win.
Palamo has named key Upolu Samoa players like captain Muliu-fi Salanoa, wing David Lemi and Roger Warren - the leading point’s scorer in the Pacific Rugby Cup in his line-up.
His squad also features a number of players in the Samoa 7s team, including Uale Mai, Lolo Lui and Rupena Levasa who lifted the London 7s title at Twickenham after beating Fiji 19-14 in the final.
Samoa meets Fiji at 2pm Saturday at Churchill park and you can catch the live commentary of the match on our sister radio station Viti FM.
In other matches, the New Zealand Maori host Tonga in Albany while Australia A under new coach Phil Mooney face Japan this Sunday.
