Teachers must ensure that they are in school on day one of term 3 to welcome back students.
The heads of the Principal and Head teachers Association are both reiterating the need for teachers to ensure that they make the necessary arrangements to get to their respective schools on time before term 3 starts next week, as per the directive from the Ministry of Education.
President of the Head Teachers Association J P Narayan said the issue of teachers being late to school has been brought up time and time again, and teachers should have no excuse for not being in school on day one of term 3.
Fiji Principals Association President Vinod Naicker said teachers attendance on day one is important to also allow them to plan things out for the term.
Term 3 begins next week Monday on the 6th of September.
