Speaking after the Drua’s 50-35 loss to the NSW Waratahs at HFC Bank Stadium, Jackson says competition for national selection would become increasingly difficult following discussions surrounding the wider Flying Fijians squad.
Jackson revealed there had recently been communication regarding a group of around 50 players being considered for Flying Fijians selection.

He says several players still needed to “put their hand up” through consistent performances and proper preparation at Super Rugby level.

Meanwhile, the Drua have dropped down to 10th place with 20 points.
The Fijian Drua will travel to Perth to play the Western Force on Saturday at 9.35pm.
In other games, the Crusaders host the Chiefs at 7.05pm Friday, the Waratahs will meet the Brumbies at 9.35pm, Moana Pasifika will face the Reds at 4.35pm Saturday, while the Hurricanes play the Highlanders at 7.05pm.
