Dave Rennie says Jordan in doubt for Springboks Test
All Blacks coach Dave Rennie says Will Jordan is “not quite right” and remains in doubt for next weekend’s first Test against the Springboks at Ellis Park.

The 28-year-old would be a certain starter for the series but hasn’t featured yet on the South Africa tour because of a back injury.

Jordan, the All Blacks’ record try scorer, will also miss their third tour match against the Bulls in Pretoria on Sunday, the last fixture before facing the Springboks in the series opener in Johannesburg.

Rennie’s original plan was to play Jordan against the Sharks on Wednesday (NZ time), a match they won 54-0 in Durban with a shadow test team.

The All Blacks play the Vodacom Bulls at 5am Sunday.
