Former Police Officer Kelepi Kolinisau found guilty of the manslaughter of Josua Lalauvaki

Former Police Officer, Kelepi Kolinisau who has been found guilty of the manslaughter of Josua Lalauvaki will be sentenced on the 20th of November.

Kolinisau was charged with murder but he was found guilty for the alternative count of manslaughter.

Kolinisau was charged alongside former Police Officer Selema Tikoenaburevere however, Judge, Justice Vinsent Perera found him not guilty of murder, manslaughter and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

Kolinisau stomped and kicked Lalauvaki on 2nd September last year.

Lalauvaki passed away at CWM Hospital on the 11th of October last year.

Kolinisau has been further remanded in custody.
