Australia currently leads Rio Olympics medal tally

Australia is currently leading the Rio Olympics medal tally with 3 gold and 1 bronze.

Australia’s gold medals came from shooting and swimming.

Mack Horton won the men’s 400 metres freestyle final while the Australian women’s team won the 4x100 metres freestyle.   

Catherine Skinner took gold in the shooting trap event.

Hungary is in second place on the medal tally with 2 gold while USA is in third place with 1 gold 4 silver and 1 bronze.

Fiji’s Glenn Kable is currently taking part in his shooting event.

Our swimmer, Matelita Buadromo will take part in the 200 metres freestyle at 4am tomorrow.
