Lautoka Women’s FC have secured promotion to the Fiji FA Women’s Super League 2026 after a dramatic 1–0 victory over Nasinu Women’s FC in the Fiji FA Senior Women’s League playoff today.
Fiji FA reported that the closely contested match was played at the Fiji FA Academy Ground in Vatuwaga, with both teams displaying discipline and determination in a tense encounter that remained goalless for most of the game.
Nasinu defended resolutely, while Lautoka pushed forward patiently in search of a breakthrough.
The decisive moment came late in the game when Titilia Latui rose to the occasion, scoring the winning goal in the 88th minute to spark celebrations among the Lautoka camp.
Her late strike proved to be the difference, earning Lautoka a historic promotion and sealing her status as the heroine of the match.
Fiji FA confirms that Lautoka Women’s FC’s victory guarantees their place in the top tier of women’s football in the country this season, as they will replace Tailevu Naitasiri Women’s FC in the Fiji FA Women’s Super League, marking a significant milestone for the club.
