Fuel prices to go down while gas to go up from today

Good news as fuel prices will go down, however, people will need to pay more for gas from today.

The Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission says the price of unleaded fuel will decrease by 6 cents, from $2.61 to $2.55 per litre, while premix will also go down by 6 cents, from $2.45 to $2.39 per litre.

Kerosene will reduce by 12 cents, from $1.86 to $1.74 per litre, and diesel will decrease by 17 cents, from $2.35 to $2.18 per litre.

The FCCC says a 4.5kg gas cylinder will increase by 23 cents, from $13.33 to $13.56, while a 12kg cylinder will go up by 62 cents, from $35.55 to $36.17.

Bulk gas prices will increase by 5 cents, from $2.74 to $2.79 per kg, while auto gas will increase by 4 cents, from $1.88 to $1.92.
