It will be a tough challenge against the Hurricanes as the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua aim to secure their first win of the season at their fortress in Lautoka.
Drua head coach Glen Jackson, speaking from Nadi, says the side allowed the Waratahs to take control in the second half of last week’s match after an impressive opening 40 minutes.
He acknowledged that the team failed to maintain their strong first-half performance but is confident they will address those issues this week.
Jackson emphasised that the selected players are not part of a rotation policy, but rather the best available squad to represent the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua at this stage of the season.
He also noted that the Hurricanes boast a formidable forward pack, adding that his players are prepared to meet the challenge when they face the side in Lautoka.
The Drua will face the Hurricanes on Saturday at Churchill Park in Lautoka at 3.35pm.
Moana Pasifika will play the Force tomorrow at 6.05pm, and the Reds will face the Highlanders at 8.35pm.
On Saturday, the Chiefs will face the Crusaders at 6.05pm, while the Brumbies will take on the Blues at 8.35pm.
Meanwhile, after Round Two of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific, the Drua sit at the bottom of the table in 11th place.
