Rewa FC head coach Priyant Manu stresses that his side will not change its approach heading into the second leg of the Pillay Garments Champion vs Champion series against Labasa FC this Saturday at Subrail Park.
Manu says the team’s approach remains the same, as only half of the CVC has been completed, adding that the task is still to win the match, knowing they cannot allow Labasa to take control of the game.
The Rewa coach stresses the challenge of playing in Labasa, describing Subrail Park as one of the toughest venues in the country due to its passionate home crowd.
He says they expect Labasa to attack aggressively from the first whistle, stressing that his team must remain disciplined and structured both in possession and defensively.
Manu also highlights that winning the CVC would be a strong start to 2026, especially after losing several players and introducing new ones as part of rebuilding the team.
He says a victory would boost confidence throughout the squad.
The second leg of the CVC series will be played this Saturday at Subrail Park, with kick-off set for 1.30pm.
