Donning the white jersey has always been a dream for most young Fijian boys growing up, and playing in the Super Rugby competition is not just a dream but a lifetime achievement for 21-year-old Isikeli Basiyalo.

Basiyalo, who has represented Fiji in international sevens, will make his Super Rugby debut for the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua today when they take on the Western Force.

He says he was emotional when told that he would be playing today.

The 22-year-old says he has been preparing well this season and will grab this opportunity with both hands.

He adds that he is grateful his hard work has paid off and he will not give up easily on the field.

The Fijian Drua will host the Force at 4.35pm today at Churchill Park in Lautoka.

Meanwhile, the Brumbies edged the Highlanders 14-10.

In other matches today, Moana Pasifika host the Chiefs at 2.05pm, the Hurricanes will face the Blues at 7.05pm, while the Reds play the Crusaders at 9.35pm.
