Extra Bula FC has secured three crucial points in the OFC Pro League after a 2–1 win over Hekari United FC in Round 3.
Thomas Dunn opened the scoring in the 11th minute with assistance from Filipe Baravilala and Fergus Gillion.
This is team's second win in the League.
There was a lengthy VAR review for a possible offside in the build-up, but once cleared, the goal stood and Bula had the early advantage they were pushing for.
The second goal came in the 35th minute when Man of the Match Kaile Auvray displayed individual brilliance to extend the lead.
Head coach Stephane Auvray says he was pleased with the first 45 minutes and believes they should have scored another goal to make the game easier.
He says there is still work to do but he is very happy for the players, who have been working hard over many games.
However, the coach stresses they will get back to work today.
There is concern for defender Semi Nabenu, who was forced off with an injury and replaced by Sterling Vasconcellos.
Extra Bula will now take on the Solomon Kings at 8.30pm this Saturday in Melbourne.
