Levani Botia scored a try to help his La Rochelle side demolish Toulon 60-0 in the Top 14 competition this morning.

The Ronan O'Gara side scored ten unanswered tries as they ran rampant against an inexperienced Toulon side.

Toulon named 10 academy players in their 23-man squad, resting first-choice players ahead of hosting Munster next Sunday.

Wallabies hooker Silatolu Latu and Nolann Le Garrec scored a double, while Jules Favre, Davit Niniashvili, Will Skeleton Kirill  Fraindt, and Dillyn Leyds scored a try each.

With the win, La Rochelle has moved up the points table to seventh, while Toulon has dropped to fifth place.
