Fijian wonder boy and football sensation Roy Krishna is officially leaving Odisha Football Club.

Krishna thanked the owners, management, coaching staff, his teammates, and the incredible fans who stood by the club through every high and low.

He says it has been an honour to wear the badge, fight for the club and share some amazing moments on and off the pitch with them.

Krishna joined the Kalinga Warriors ahead of the 2023–24 season and played a major role in the club’s success, helping secure a fourth-place finish in the Indian Super League, and reaching the semi-finals of the playoffs.

Odisha FC confirmed his departure in a facebook post, saying that he is a legend whose footsteps will forever echo through the stands of Kalinga.

They say that even when injuries tried to hold him back, his commitment never wavered.

The club says Krishna showed up early, focused, and full of heart in every training session, and that quiet discipline — that warrior spirit — inspired everyone around him.

They say that his legacy isn’t just in the statistics or the trophies; it’s in the indelible memories, the profound respect, and the immense love he has earned from fans, the club, and every soul who witnessed his passion.

The 2024–25 season was not a memorable one for the veteran forward, who made just nine appearances after a ligament injury — sustained in an away fixture against Hyderabad FC in November — ruled him out for the rest of the season.
