Radradra and Hughes to start for Bristol Bears

Flying Fijian Semi Radradra and fellow Fijian Nathan Hughes have been listed to start for the Bristol Bears in their Gallagher Premiership match against the Worcester Warriors tomorrow morning.

Hughes who made his debut for England in 2016 will start at number 8.

He attended Saint Thomas High School in Lautoka and is a former Fiji Warriors representative.

Hughes has also represented Fiji in hockey.

He joined Bristol Bears ahead of the 2019/20 campaign and is one of the most dominant forwards in the Gallagher Premiership, standing at 6’5” and weighing over 126kg.

Hughes previously played for the Wasps.

The powerful number eight marked his Gallagher Premiership debut with a try against Bath.

Radradra will start at outside centre.

He joined the Bristol Bears from Bordeaux in July 2020.

A standout individual across both rugby codes, Radradra averaged 100m a game at the 2019 Rugby World Cup, lighting up the competition pool stages with a string of sensational displays, including a brace against Georgia.

During his time in the Australian National Rugby League, Radradra was named Dally M Winger of the Year for two seasons in a row, scoring 82 tries in 94 games for Parramatta Eels.

The Bristol Bears will face the Worcester Warriors at 5 o’clock tomorrow morning.
