Fiji Water Flying Fijians Assistant coach, Daryl Gibson says their preparations have moved up a gear in terms of intensity.

Gibson stated this in an interview, saying they are also working on their mental approach, making sure they are well prepared.

He says from a coaching point of view, the last 14 weeks they have gone pretty hard at the boys on fitness which has been a common feature of their training.

Gibson says this week they have looked at their volume and how much they are doing.

The Assistant Coach says they want to really give the boys a lot of energy going into this game against England with a bit more spring in their step.

Flying Fijians flanker Lekima Tagitagivalu says they have been getting advice from their coaches who were part of the last Fiji team to the quarter finals like Seremaia Bai, Graham Dewes, and Bill Gadolo.

Fiji will play England at 3am tomorrow in Marseilles.

In the last quarter-final, hosts France face South Africa at 7am tomorrow.

In the other quarter finals, Argentina beat Wales 29-17 while New Zealand edged Ireland 28-24.
