Southern Zone Under 18 defending champions Nasinu Secondary School delivered a dominant performance in Round 4 of the Deans competition, after thrashing Gospel High School 50–0 this afternoon.

Assistant Principal Dan Vakamoce says the team stuck to their game plan, which played a key role in the dominant result.

Vakamoce acknowledged Gospel High's efforts, noting that they challenged Nasinu in several lineouts and scrums.

He also highlighted key improvements made by his team.

He says one of the weaknesses we identified in earlier matches was a lack of communication, and the boys showed great improvement in that area today..

Vakamoce stressed there is still work to be done, particularly in maintaining ball possession, which he identified as an ongoing area of concern.

Nasinu will now prepare to face Christian Mission Fellowship Secondary School in Round 5 next Saturday.

In another Under 14 result, Suva Grammar School edged Dudley High School 19-17.

In the Under 15 results, Suva Grammar School defeated Latter-day Saints College 14-10, Ratu Sukuna Memorial School thrashed Basden College 29-5 while MGM edged Nasinu Secondary 8-5.

Meanwhile, Naitasiri High School Under 17 team beat Lami High School 16-13 and Nasinu Secondary Under 19 defeated Lami High School 12-0.
