Imeri Nasali of Adi Cakobau School and Rupeni Caucaunibuca of Naitasiri Secondary School have been crowned the Blue Ribbon Champions of the Coca Cola Triple N Zone in the girls’ and boys’ divisions respectively.

Nasali ran a time of 12.88 seconds, finishing ahead of Lelean Memorial School’s Nina Sigaitu, who finished in second place with a time of 13.66 seconds.

Senikau Taleitaki, also of ACS, settled for bronze.

In the senior boys’ division, Caucaunibuca clocked a time of 11.02 seconds, ahead of Nakasi High School’s Ashytosh Sinha, who finished second with a time of 11.34 seconds, while Ratu Samuela Kunadei of Lelean finished third with a time of 11.38 seconds.

Meanwhile, ACS and Lelean are currently leading the fijivillage medal tallies of the girls’ and boys’ divisions respectively after day 1.

In the girls’ division, ACS currently has 13 gold, 12 silver and 12 bronze, Naitasiri Secondary is second with 3 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze, while Lomaivuna High School is third with 2 gold and 2 silver.

In the boys’ division, Lelean currently has 7 gold, 9 silver and 6 bronze, Sila Central is second with 6 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze, while Nakasi High School is third with 5 gold, 3 silver and 6 bronze.
