Narawa to start at wing against Crusaders

Fiji-born Emoni Narawa has been named to start on the wing for the Chiefs when they take on rivals, the Crusaders, in the 2nd round of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific tomorrow.

Narawa has been roped in after Etene Nanai-Seturo suffered a hamstring injury during their 25-14 win over the Blues last Saturday.

28-year-old Jahrome Brown will make his Chiefs debut at open-side flanker and will be joined by Simon Parker and Luke Jacobson in the back row.

Aidan Ross will partner with Bradley Slater and George Dyer in the front row, and Josh Lord will team up with Tupou Vaa’i at locks.

Xavier Roe will partner with Josh Jacomb in the halves, while Anton Lienert-Brown and Rameka Poihipi will start in the centres.

Leroy Carter and Narawa are on the wings, while Damian McKenzie will start at fullback.

The Chiefs will take on the Crusaders at 6.05pm tomorrow.

In other Super Rugby Pacific matches, the Reds will face Moana Pasifika at 8.35pm tomorrow, the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua will meet the Hurricanes at 3.35pm Saturday, the Highlanders will face the Blues at 6.05pm Saturday and the Brumbies will play the Force at 8.35pm Saturday.
