Heading into this weekend’s Vodafone Super Deans semi finals, the main area that the Suva Grammar School U18 side will be focusing on is to improve on their mistakes from last weekend’s quarter final against Lelean.
Grammar staged an impressive comeback in the second half of the match after being down 21-3 in the first half to clinch a 27-24 win.
Fullback Semi Solovani kicked the winning penalty in the dying stages of the match to give Grammar the impressive win.
While speaking to fijivillage Sports, Solovani says they need to work on a lot of things, knowing the capabilities of their opponent this weekend.
He adds that the players are motivated by the support, and they will try to make everyone proud again this weekend.
Meanwhile, Grammar will feature in five grades during the semi finals this weekend, and that includes the U14, U15, U16, U17 and U18.
In the Vodafone Super Deans U18 semi finals at the HFC Bank Stadium, Natabua High School will take on Nasinu Secondary School at 3.30pm and Suva Grammar School will take on Ratu Kadavulevu School at 5pm.
In the Weet-Bix Raluve U18 competition, Natabua High School, Muaniweni College, Jasper Williams High School and MGM High School have secured their places in the national semi finals this weekend.
