Fijian Warriors defeat Tonga A 47-0 in their second match of the World Rugby Pacific Challenge

The Swire Shipping Fijian Warriors thumped Tonga A 47-nil at ANZ Stadium in Suva last night to get a bonus-point win and remain on track for the World Rugby Pacific Challenge title.

The Fijian Warriors made a slow start and led 19-nil at half time with tries coming from debutant Marika Vularewa, winger Epeli Momo and half-back Simione Kuruvoli.

Taniela Soqonawasaloa, Osea Waqa, Joseva Nasaroa, and Alipate Waidilo who also made his debut off the bench got a try each.

Meanwhile, Junior Japan thrashed Samoa A 76-3.

The Fiji Warriors will take on Junior Japan at 3.30pm this Saturday in the final of the World Rugby Pacific Challenge at the ANZ Stadium.
