Fiji Pearls names squad for PacificAus Sports Netball Series

Former Fiji Basketball rep Kalesi Tawake has been selected for the 15-member Fiji Pearls squad that will participate in the PacificAus Sports Netball Series in Australia next month.

Tawake is the younger sister of Rooster Chicken Fijiana Drua captain Bitila Tawake and made her debut for the Pearls during the Vodafone Netball World Cup Oceania Qualifier.

Other players included in the squad include Lydia Waqavakatoga Panapasa, Unaisi Viadrei Kacilagi Kubunameca, Elina Catherine Drikibau, Maliana Mata Roseline Rusivakula, Jimaima Vakacegu Kete, Avelina Watirakau Agnes Navue, Nina Kulabu Cirikisuva, Vaiti Coa, Kaitlyn Abbey Fisher, Alisi Cidresu Naqiri, Kelera Nayau Nawai, Reama Magdalene Verekauta, Ledua Pulotu Yabakivinaka Waqa and Josephine Tabua.

The PacificAus Sports Netball Series will be held from the 16th to the 21st of next month in the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.
