Fiji Football Association has distributed $64,000 in profits from the 2025 BiC Fiji FACT tournament to eight participating district teams and donated over $17,000 to WOWS Kids Fiji.

The announcement was made during the Fiji FA Council meeting held on Sunday at the association’s headquarters in Vatuwaqa.

Fiji FA says each of the eight districts will receive $8,000 as part of Fiji FA’s commitment to reinvesting in local football communities.

Association President Rajesh Patel says the tournament performed exceptionally well in terms of live streaming and public engagement.

He says they are proud to reinvest this success back into football communities.

Patel says the tournament generated more than $100,000 in profits, driven largely by digital engagement and strong fan turnout.

He says of the total, over $17,000 from ticket sales has been allocated to WOWS Kids Fiji, a foundation supporting children with cancer.

Fiji FA says since 2022, they have contributed more than $30,000 to the foundation through various football events, with $1 from every ticket sold going toward the cause.

Patel says Fiji FA remains steadfast in supporting communities both on and off the field and these contributions reflect their core values and responsibility to give back.

Fiji FA adds they aim to build on this momentum in future tournaments, with a continued focus on transparency, community engagement, and grassroots development.
