David Fifita scored a double for the Gold Coast Titans as they defeated his former club, the Brisbane Broncos 28-16 in the NRL last night.

The former Broncos second-row set the crowd alight with his strong runs, often attracting three or four defenders as he overpowered the Broncos defence.

He scored his first try in the 33rd minute of the first half to assist the Titan with a 22-4 lead at the break.

Fifita struck again in the 55th minute, swatting away Anthony Milford before steamrolling Jamayne Isaako to score his second try of the night.

Jarrod Wallace, Erin Clark and Jaimin Jolliffe scored a try each for the Titans.

Tesi Niu, Xavier Coates and Tevita Pangai Junior scored for the Broncos.

In other results last night, the Knights beat the Warriors 20-16.

Meanwhile, the Bulldogs will take on the Panthers at 4 this afternoon, the Sea Eagles will face the Rabbitohs at 6.30 tonight and the Cowboys will play the Dragons at 8.30 tonight.
