The 12 team Dubai men’s competition will follow the Olympic format with three pools of four teams each.

New Zealand’s men’s and women’s teams, who won the respective Series titles in 2020, and Samoa’s men’s team are unable to participate in Dubai due to the challenges of the Covid-19 travel logistics.

The first Dubai 7s competition will be held from this Friday to Sunday.

Fiji will face France at 7.22pm on Friday and will take on Canada at 10.52pm in the second game. Fiji will take on Australia at 3.33am Saturday in their last pool game.

The quarter-finals will start at 6.28pm Saturday, the semi-finals will start at 10.18pm Saturday while the final will start at 3.26am Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Fijiana 7s team will play Ireland at 5.22pm Friday, Canada at 8.56pm Friday, Russia at 3.05am Saturday and Great Britain at 9.07pm Saturday.
