Communications Fiji Limited, the parent company of FM96, LegendFM, Viti FM, Navtarang, Radio Sargam and fijivillage has signed a Memorandum of Agreement to be the media partner for the 36th Fiji Bitter Nawaka 7s, which will be held this weekend.

84 teams will participate in the two-day event, with 48 men's teams to battle for the $10,000 prize money and $3,000 will be on the plate for the 24 U21 teams.

8 women's teams will go against each other for the $1,500 prize money, while 4 Indo-Fijian teams will go head to head for the $700 prize money for the Fellow Fijians Division.

Tournament coordinator James Vunituraga says top teams like Army Green, Police Blue, Tabadamu, Lavidi Brothers, Wardens and Raiwasa Taveuni have confirmed their availability.

Vunituraga says they hope Fijians in the Western Division will come out in numbers to support our local talents at Prince Charles Park in Nadi this weekend.

The Nawaka 7s will be held on Friday and Saturday.
