The NZ Warriors have secured their 5th consecutive win on Australian soil and have moved level with the Bulldogs at the top of the NRL points table following their 40-10 thrashing of the Cronulla Sharks last night.

The Warriors scored a total of 7 tries to the Sharks’ two tries, with the Warriors’ halfback scoring two tries in the 67th and 77th minute of the match.

The teams were locked at 10-all at the break following a strong first half, but the Warriors found their rhythm in the second spell and pulled away with 30 points, and denying the Sharks from scoring any more points in the second half.

Coach Andrew Webster has spoken highly of star playmaker James Fisher-Harris saying that he is now playing like the man who won four premierships with Penrith, with the Kiwis skipper leading from the front a week after co-captain Mitch Barnett was ruled out for the rest of 2025 season due to a knee injury.

Webster says since Fisher-Harris walked in the doors of the Warriors, his actions and what he says to the group, they listen.

He says the team has changed, and then you see young kids who feel comfortable in their own skin and feel safe to be themselves.

He adds that he is fascinated by Fisher-Harris and what he has brought to the club.

Meanwhile, in other matches of round 14 of the NRL, the Knights defeated the Sea Eagles 26-22, the Storm thumped the Cowboys 38-14, the Dolphins thrashed the Dragons 56-6, and the Broncos defeated the Titans 44-14.
