Former All Blacks centre Setareki Tamanivalu has been called into the FIJI Water Flying Fijians squad ahead of the Asahi Super Dry Pacific Nations Cup final against hosts Japan on Saturday.
Tamanivalu has been called in as cover for Kalaveti Ravouvou who has been ruled out of this weekend's game due to injury.
The Flying Fijians are currently riding on a high after besting 24th placed Canada 45-29 in an electric semi-final.
Interim Coach Senirusi Seruvakula says they will be looking to build on the positives from their win over Canada.
Seruvakula says Fiji will be aiming to maintain their winning momentum and put themselves in a strong position as they battle for top honours in the Pacific Nations Cup.
Japan are expected to provide a different challenge, with their pace, discipline and attacking style likely to test Fiji across the field.
The Flying Fijians will face Japan at 7.05pm Saturday.
