The Fiji National Rugby League office confirmed this to fijivillage News, saying with the 2026 Rugby League World Cup now fast approaching, 15 members of the Fiji Bulikula squad remain in finals contention across the NRLW, Queensland’s BMD Premiership and the NSW Women’s Premiership.
They say for Fiji, it is an encouraging sign of the depth and quality available to the national women’s programme.

FNRL says the Bulikula will make history this year by appearing at their first Rugby League World Cup after qualifying through the 2025 World Series in Canada.
Fiji defeated Nigeria 62–4 in the final to secure the final women’s World Cup berth.
They say as preparations build towards the World Cup, a number of Fiji’s players are still chasing domestic titles with their respective clubs.
