QVS U18 players after a training session

Queen Victoria School principal Seru Banuve believes that Saint John’s College has built their confidence after a comfortable win over Nasinu Secondary School last weekend.

The QVS Under 18 team which has received a lot of support from old scholars including newly appointed Fiji coach to the NRC Senirusi Seruvakula have met Saint John’s College three times this year with two wins and a loss.

Banuve says they respect Cawaci as they were impressive in the Coke Zero Deans quarter finals.

Meanwhile former QVS student and former Flying Fijians flyhalf Waisea Luveniyali was assisting the QVS Under 18 team yesterday.

Luveniyali who was part of the QVS team that drew 6-all with Lelean Memorial School in the 2004 Deans final believes this match should not be missed as it will be a brutal clash.

He was assisting the QVS Under 18 kickers after they missed some crucial kicks last week.

QVS will face Saint John’s College at 3.30pm while RKS will take on Cuvu College at 1.50pm.

You can catch the live commentaries of both matches on our sister station Viti FM on 92.2FM in Suva, Nausori, the Central Division, Nadi, Lautoka, Labasa, 92FM in Sigatoka, the Coral Coast, Ba, Tavua and Savusavu and 92.6FM in Rakiraki.
