Tributes have already begun to flow overnight following the news of the passing of All Blacks great Sir Brian Lochore who played 68 matches in the black jersey between 1964 and 1971.
Sad hearing the news we lost an All Black legend, and one of the nicest people I’ve met. Sir Brian Lochore, you will be missed. Thoughts are with your family. RIP BJ pic.twitter.com/xqL9X7exjt

All Blacks captain Kieran Read says that Sir Brian was an icon in their game and it is truly a sad day for the team.
‘Great’ is often used too liberally when it comes to describing sports people, but the late Sir Brian Lochore epitomized the word. A delightful & great rugby man who reflected & championed all that is good about our game. He will be greatly missed.

Former All Blacks Nick Evans and Sean Fitzpatrick also paid tribute to Sir Brian.
The All Blacks will take on the Wallabies at 9.45 pm Saturday while South Africa will face Argentina at 7.40am Sunday.
