Top sides to wear new sportswear brand

The top 8 local sides that will play in the 2012 Uprising International Sevens will also wear the official uniform provided by the organisers.

The new sportswear brand, Uprising Rugby Fiji is owned by Rene Munch, the owner of the Uprising Beach Resort who has funded so many community initiatives.

Munch revealed last Friday that he had personally donated in excess of $750,000 to many courses in Fiji over the past few years, many of which involved the love of his life - rugby.

All proceeds from sales of the 2012 Uprising Fiji International Rugby Sevens official merchandise will be re-invested in the Uprising Rugby Fiji fund to assist other charitable causes.

The Uprising International Sevens will be held on the 20th and 21st of January at the TFL National Stadium.
