Former national athletics star Salome Tabuatalei will be the Flag Bearer for Team Fiji in today's official opening of the Pacific Mini Games in Cook Islands.
It will be the 5th Mini Games for the 49 year old, Tabuatalei who will now be competing in the Va'a competition.
She has won medals in every Mini and South Pacific Games since her first appearance in Vanuatu in 1993.
Meanwhile, Team Fiji's Chef De Mission Patrick Bower speaking from the Cook Islands said the official opening has been brought three hours earlier.
The official opening at the Pacific Mini Games will start today at 2pm with the events starting tomorrow.
