Fiji Barbarians 7s coach Saiasi Fuli has named Banuve Tabakaucoro to start on the wing in their first game against Ireland in the Oktoberfest 7s in Munich, Germany tonight.
Speaking from Munich to Fijivillage, Fuli says the new players will have an opportunity to have a feel of an international tournament.
Fuli says Tabakaucoro has been progressing well.
The line up to face Ireland include captain Paula Dranisinukula, Anare Tevita and Josua Kurinabuli in the forwards.
Amenoni Nasilasila will start at half back and will combine with Tabadamu’s utility back Samu Bale at first five eight.
Sevuloni Moceinacagi will start at centre while Tabakaucoro will be on the wing.
Meanwhile German Rugby spent nearly 2 million euros to host this tournament.
The tournament will be held at the Olympic Stadium where Germany hosted the 1972 Olympics.
The Fiji Barbarians will take on Ireland at 11.23 tonight, they will play Chile at 2.15am tomorrow before taking on Australia at 5.07am tomorrow.
