The sky is the limit!
That is the view of National Netball Coach Gabrielle Qoro, who once held the record for the Coca Cola Games Long Jump back in 1988, with a jump of 6.89 metres.
Qoro broke the record while attending Andra High School in Sigatoka and said that what motivated him was the urge to represent Fiji one day.
Meanwhile, former 100 meters champion, Maloni Bole of Ratu Sukuna Memorial School said that to excel at the Cokes, a lot of sacrifice is needed.
Bole a retired bank officer is now with the Fiji Brethren Assembly, Nadi Branch, a branch of the Gospel Schools in Fiji.
During his time, back in 1985, he took first place in the 100 meters from the Sub Junior to the senior grades.
The Coca Cola Games will be held at the TFL Stadium next Friday and Saturday.
Adi Cakobau School is the defending champions for the girls and Suva Grammar School are the boys defending champions.
