Former Melbourne Storm winger Sisa Waqa is back to fight for a spot in the Vodafone Fiji Bati squad ahead of the Rugby League World Cup this month.
Waqa will be playing for the Overseas Bati alongside other big names including Kevin Naiqama, Taane Milner, Henry Raiwalui, Junior Roqica, Sitiveni Moceidreke and Isaac Lumelume.
Fiji National Rugby League CEO Timoci Naleba says the Bati selection criteria require an automatic selection for any player who has played more than eight games in the NRL first grade.
The Battle of the Bati will be at 3pm Saturday at the ANZ Stadium.
Meanwhile the Kangaroos and the PNG Kumuls will play the Vodafone Fiji Bati at the ANZ Stadium next Saturday.
